Live Betting Guide
Live betting (also called in-play betting) lets you wager on a game while it's happening. Lines update continuously based on the score, time remaining, and momentum. Live wagers now account for more than half of all bets placed in Michigan on a typical NFL Sunday.
How live betting works
The sportsbook's pricing engine recalculates spreads, moneylines and totals every few seconds during a game. You can wager on the same markets as before kick-off; plus a wide range of in-play-only options like next-drive result, next-basket scorer, or next-half spread.

bet365 strength note
bet365 (live in MI since 2023) is widely considered the best in-play sportsbook globally. Its live cash-out values and live-event coverage outpace most U.S. competitors, making it a strong second account for live bettors.
Cash out: how it works
Cash out lets you settle a wager before the underlying event finishes. The sportsbook calculates a current value based on the implied probability of your bet still winning. If the value is positive, you can take it as profit. If negative, you can use cash out to limit losses. Cash out is automated; the offer is always lower than the bet's "true" expected value, since it includes the operator's margin.
Risks of live betting
Live odds move fast and the operator's hold per market is typically higher than pre-game. Tilt-driven live wagers are a leading cause of bankroll erosion. Set a per-game live-betting cap before tip-off and stick to it.
